Cooperation

 

The Kiel Forschungswerkstatt (Research Workshop) including the ozean:labor is a joint institution of the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN) and the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel (CAU). Dr. Katrin Knickmeier is responsible for all experiments. With the support of the Kiel Research Workshop, contents of the WOR are implemented on board the „Cape Race“.

The World Ocean Reviews (WOR) are published by maribus, the non-profit GmbH founded by mareverlag. maribus was founded specifically for the purpose of sensitizing the public to marine scientific contexts and thus contributing to more effective marine protection.

Rhymhart

RYMHART is a brand of Strickerei Siegel, a family business in Stade. Each product in the collection is designed, knitted, finished, packaged and marketed in Stade on the Elbe. All pieces are made of 100% wool and are particularly durable due to careful craftsmanship. Detailed advice, special designs and loving service, such as refurbishment and repairs, are a matter of course. The crew of the “Cape Race” wears the heavy RYMHART Cardigan made of virgin wool.

Fattoria Corzano e Paterno is a two hundred hectare farm owned and operated by the Gelpke and Goldschmidt families, founded by the Swiss architect Wendelin Gelpke. The farm, situated in San Casciano Val di Pesa, roughly halfway between Florence and Siena, is dedicated to the production of the finest quality wine, olive oil and sheep cheeses.

Sandy Air Corp was founded as a family business in 2003 and initially specialised in aircraft restoration and recovery. Teaching activities at various universities by Wolfgang Falch and Dr. Sabine Albrich-Falch, as well as other employees.
Since 2006, additional assignments in the scientific field, as well as in the areas of locating persons on behalf of the executive and public prosecutor’s offices, power plant and bridge inspections on behalf of authorities and operating companies.
Training for police, fire brigades and rescue organisations such as DLRG, ÖWR and others.
